#Endless sky free worlds missions how to#
I'm not sure how to reset it, but if you find the offending line in your save file (that is, a line that says "Strider: Coalition 1: failed" or "Strider: Coalition 2: failed") and change it to say done, you should be able to trigger the next mission by simply landing on Ring of Friendship or Hai-home. Return to Hai-home so that the Hai can begin developing this technology for their new ship.". In which case, the mission you failed was probably either Strider: Coalition 1 - "Transport Ambassador Yashili and her delegation to Ring of Friendship to attempt to obtain hull repair technology from the Coalition." or Strider: Coalition 2 - "The delegation has successfully obtained hull repair technology from the Coalition. Still, I'm leaving the info above for anyone else that stumbles into this thread.)Īre you sure it's not a Hai mission? I don't recall anything like that in the Wanderer story, but I know the Hai eventually want hull repair technology to add to their new Pond Strider carrier ship. (EDIT: I just noticed that OP is the same person who posted this question, so they've probably already discovered the important part of the southeast by now. And that area does have a fairly substantial (though also incomplete) campaign of its own! :) The latter area can be traversed with only a Jump Drive, but it's much easier if you also have a certain outfit that seems like it does nothing. The former area just needs a Jump Drive, which you already have, but it doesn't yet have any story per se (new outfits and ships, yes, but no campaign). There is a high chance they will self-destruct, but it doesn't take too long to get a few unless you're very unlucky, and the bigger ones are stronger than anything you have.Īnd as /u/ndander3 mentioned, there are areas to the far south/southwest and to the southeast that aren't linked to human space either (at least, not by hyperlanes). The latter tend to fight amongst themselves, similar to the unfettered Hai vs the 'fettered' ones, and you can just use your Cloaking Device and wait, capturing or looting disabled ships like a vulture when opportunity arises instead of directly engaging them. The Wanderers offer the second-biggest (though technically incomplete) campaign in the game, but you need to trigger its start by finding the one planet that you can land on.Īlso, /u/writenotnow, by Korath space, which area do you mean? There are a few disconnected places in one area, and another, more connected place about as large as Hai space with some different ships.
